Implicit: "Did you even read the (title of )the article (and the assumptions I drew from it which are totally unsupported by what's in it, which you are a failure for not divining from my mind)?

Or when someone thinks they're being clever by blurting out a kneejerk response to the title of the article, which would've been addressed had you just read the damn thing.
But yea, let's have yet another oppo post whining about another gawker outlet.

Person first, descriptor comes after. Right now you're being a Dick and blanketing all Jezebel commenters as being irrational.
You should say: "This person said this other person didn't read the article, even though person #1's point is valid."

I get that kneejerk responses to the title of an article often don't fit, but that's often because said title is at cross-purposes to what's actually in the article and what it can support. I'd rule a goofy/incoherent or stupid title fair game in such a case.
OTOH, a tendency to "Didn't read lol" on my part when seeing Jez and Gawker titles means I don't bother commenting thereon, because I consider having read the article important for abuse.

It's what a LOT of people say. Not just Jez, but Gawker, and other websites I go to.
Yes, I read the article. I disagree with the points that it made.

Did you even read the article?

Your first mistake was going on Jezebel. Your second mistake was reading an article there. Your third mistake was commenting on said article. Your fourth mistake was reading the responses to your comment. Your fifth mistake was being surprised by the level of irrationality in the responses.
All of these mistakes could easily been corrected by fixing the first: DON'T GO TO JEZEBEL! You can't fight crazy with reason because any carefully crafted argument can easily be ignored on the Internet.
